Roleplay Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between Sergiu Moloman, of Str. Ștefan cel Mare 202, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova ("we", "us"), and the company or organization that signs up for or orders Roleplay ("Customer", "you"). The person accepting these terms confirms they can bind the Customer.
Roleplay is offered at useroleplay.app, and the app runs at app.useroleplay.app. If we agree a custom plan with you in a signed order form, and it conflicts with these terms, the order form wins.
1. The service
Roleplay is an online tool for sales practice. It reads a Customer's website and documents and builds AI practice customers from them. Team members hold live voice practice calls with those AI customers. The service records and transcribes the calls and gives scores and feedback.
We may improve or change features over time. We will not materially reduce the core service during a paid period without notice.
2. Accounts and seats
- Users sign in with an emailed code, Google, or their company's own login where we have set one up, through our sign-in provider. We do not store passwords.
- A workspace has an owner, managers and reps. The owner invites managers and reps and sets roles. Managers invite reps and manage the reps in their departments.
- Seats and minutes are set by your plan. The service refuses invitations beyond the plan's seats. When the minutes run out, or the plan or trial ends, new calls pause. A call already under way finishes. Once a plan or trial has ended, new practice customers can't be built either.
- Each user account is for one named person and must not be shared.
- You are responsible for who you invite, the roles you give them, and what happens under your users' accounts. Tell us promptly at support@useroleplay.app if you suspect misuse.
- When you take someone off your team, they lose access to the workspace straight away, even if they are still signed in. Their calls and scores stay in the workspace until you ask us to erase them (section 11).
- Who can open which calls:
- The owner can open every call in the workspace.
- A manager can open the calls of the people in the departments they belong to, and any call behind a moment assigned to one of those people.
- A rep can open their own calls. A rep can also open the whole call (recording, transcript and scores) behind a moment assigned to them, even if it is a colleague's.
- Anyone who can open a call can see its transcript and scores and play its recording.
- The app shows a recording notice before each call. You must still tell your users that their practice calls are recorded, transcribed and scored, and who can see them.
3. Acceptable use
You and your users must not:
- upload documents or point us at websites containing someone else's confidential information unless you have the right to use it this way;
- set up a practice customer to impersonate a real, identifiable person, or use the service to produce content presented as coming from a real person;
- use the service for anything unlawful, harassing, or deceptive towards real people;
- try to access other customers' data, or probe, overload or bypass the service's security or usage limits;
- reverse engineer the service or use it to build a competing product;
- resell the service or give third parties outside your organization access to it, unless we agree in writing.
4. Your content
- "Customer Content" means what you and your users put into the service (websites, documents, scenarios, notes) and what the service creates for you from it (practice customers, recordings, transcripts, scores, feedback).
- Customer Content stays yours.
- You give us a limited licence to host, copy, process and transmit Customer Content only to provide, secure and support the service for you. This includes sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
- We do not sell Customer Content.
- You are responsible for having the rights, notices and consents needed for the content and personal data you put in.
- Where we process personal data on your behalf, we do so only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you need a data processing agreement, contact us at support@useroleplay.app.
5. AI output
- Practice customers, conversations, scores and feedback are generated by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent. The same call can score differently if scored again.
- Facts the service pulls from your content may be misread. Review them before relying on them.
- Practice customers are fictional. Nothing they say is advice or a statement about a real business or person.
6. Scores and feedback are coaching aids only
Scores, skill ratings, streaks, moments and written feedback are there to help people practise. They are not a reliable measure of a person's performance or ability.
You must not use them, alone or as a main factor, to make decisions about hiring, firing, discipline, promotion, pay or other employment terms. If you choose to use them in any decision about people, you do so at your own risk, and you are responsible for complying with employment and data protection law.
7. Plans and fees
- Team plan: USD 49 per seat per month. Each seat adds 60 practice minutes a month. The minutes are pooled for the whole team and come back each billing month.
- The plan is billed monthly in advance and renews each month until you cancel.
- Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
- Bigger teams: use "Talk to us" and we can agree a custom plan. A custom plan may be invoiced, on the terms set in its order form.
- Fees are non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy or where the law requires otherwise.
8. Payments and Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
- Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd) sells the plan to you, takes payment, issues receipts and invoices, and handles sales tax and VAT.
- Paddle's own terms apply to your purchase, alongside these terms for your use of Roleplay.
- We never see or store your full card details.
9. Cancellation
- You can cancel at any time, through the link in your Paddle receipt or by writing to support@useroleplay.app.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing month you have already paid for. Your team keeps access and its remaining minutes until then.
- We do not give partial refunds for unused time or minutes, except as set out in our Refund Policy.
10. Free trial and demo
- Anyone can try a limited demo without an account. Demo use has daily limits, and building a demo has a bot check. If the visitor later signs in, the demo's practice customers and calls move into their workspace.
- A new workspace starts on a free trial: 14 days and 120 practice minutes for the whole team. No card is needed.
- There is one free trial per person and per company. A sign-up that has already had a trial gets a workspace without trial minutes.
- Trial calls may also pause until the next day if overall trial use reaches our daily limit.
- Trials and the demo are provided as-is, and we may end them at any time.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access, in whole or for specific users, if:
- a payment fails and is not resolved;
- use breaks section 3 or puts the service, other customers or third parties at risk;
- we are required to by law.
We will give notice before suspending where we reasonably can, and limit the suspension to what is needed.
- These terms run while you have a plan or trial.
- Either side may end them if the other materially breaches them and does not fix the breach within 30 days of written notice.
- After termination, you have 30 days to ask for an export. We provide it as a JSON file with your team's people, departments, scenarios, tracks, assignments and every finished call with its transcript and scores. It does not include call recordings, the websites and documents read into the service, or the practice customers built from them.
- After that window we delete Customer Content, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
- The workspace owner can also ask us to erase the whole workspace, or the data of someone taken off the team, at any time. Write to support@useroleplay.app and we will run it for you.
- Sections 4, 6, 7 (unpaid fees), 12, 13 and 14 survive termination.
12. Liability
- Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data, except where the law does not allow this to be limited.
- Each side's total liability under these terms is capped at the fees paid or payable by you in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
- These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, to breaches of section 3, or to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Apart from what these terms expressly say, the service is provided "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
13. Confidentiality and feedback
- Each side keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for this agreement.
- If you send us suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova. Disputes go to the courts of Chișinău.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to the workspace owner. Changes do not apply to a billing period already paid for unless you agree, or the law requires them.
